This is a true tone LP by Buescher. There is the date of October 29, 07, likely the patent date. The number 39 is believed to be the model number. The serial number place it in the late 1920s according to the website. The slide serial number matches the body of the Trombone and the slide is in excellent condition. An Super Grinnell, Tone tempered trumpet. Estate item, it does show some soiling and wear. Some dings and dents and scratches. Finish wear and finish loss. All 3 valves are free and move. It has a 5C mouthpiece, I do not see a name on it. In the Grinnell case. Case is dirty with alot of soiling and wear, tears and stains. Please study photos for best condition report.
Gorgeous vintage 1920’s Buescher True Tone Trumpet for sale. This instrument is in good condition with almost all original plating intact, however there are spots of wear. No dents, few dings. Please look at all photos. The Vintage 1920’s Buescher True Tone Trumpet is a high-quality brass instrument. Made in the United States with a lacquered finish, this trumpet features a piston valve type and three valves for precise sound production.
This was my personal trumpet that I received new at age10 in1956. I played it for 4 years and then lost interest. It has been stored in its case and never played since 1960. It was recently serviced, cleaned, and lubricated. The felt and cork on the valves were also replaced. This is an excellent example of a Getzen Super Deluxe Tone Balanced Elkhorn WI trumpet from 1956. Serial number is 53456. This instrument is in excellent playing condition and sounds fantastic. It is in the original case, liner is in excellent condition, and even has the original Getzen sticker inside. The exterior latches latch but the springs no longer work. There is no key to the latches. It also comes with the original Vincent Bach mouthpiece, as well as the original sheet music holder. The valves and slides all work smoothly. The lacquer is in great shape for its age. It does show some signs of wear, but I’d give it a 8/10 or 9/10. It’s time to get it in the hands of someone who will make music with it again.
