It is in excellent condition. Lacquer about 99% with just a tiny bit of wear and maybe one very small ding, but no significant dents or repairs. Unlike most of the used trumpets you might be looking at, this one has just been through the shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new piston felts, water key cork, and tuning slide O-rings installed. Valves are fast and smooth with no problems, and all the tuning slides are free. All in an excellent hard case in very good condition. An excellent trumpet for your advancing student-far better than the one you’re renting-and at about a thousand dollars less than Bach’s current step-up trumpet!
