Trumpet Olds Ambassador made in Fullerton CA. From the early 1970s, serial 7XXXXX. One of the best preserved vintage vOlds horns I have seen. Plays amazing, clear projection, loud, and plays the soft stuff well too. Just a great player / looker. Horn plays as good as it looks. No case or Mouthpiece. The Buescher 1949 Model #228 trumpet is 400 is probably known as one of the rarest and sought-after vintage Trumpets.. No rust or worn parts or missing plating here!!! This is the cat’s Meow, with a jazz mellow. 458 bore and the lightweight feel and completely professionally Restored with valves being done as well, She has such a beautiful sound. The Buescher 400 -model 228 is extremely rare just about extinct. To find one with the original case, mouthpiece. And keys to the case is basically unheard of. During and after the War this trumpet held its reputation! Jazz players just loved this horn it was known as a skater. This trumpet is highly coveted by musicians and collectors. This is a Bb trumpet, it offers a bright rifle like snapshot sound, when you blow into this trumpet you don’t have to wait for the note to come out. (ITS RIGHT THERE) All you veteran trumpet players know exactly what I mean. I do not recommend this for a hobbyist, or the beginning trumpet player. This cornet appears not to have been used but for a few days. More like a display horn. Comes with Bach 7B mouthpiece. The King 602 is a solid, USA-made student cornet. It has a good reputation for playing well and is generally built better than many inexpensive modern imports.
