1970s Modified Vincent Bach 50 Bass Trombone Dependent Valves. ANY AND ALL OFFERS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Ive switched to another horn completely. I had the horn modified from a double F trigger to a middle finger Gb pedal. The slide is an 8.5/10. Ive included a before and after photo of the horn. The horn had 15% original lacquer that was spotty so I also stripped the lacquer. Ive seen no change in how it plays. Ive also tried to include most of the dents. No dents occurred in my care though. Overall, the horn has the sweetest sound of a lot of basses Ive played. Tons of color in all registers. Silver and Brass Music Shop is a brick-and-mortar brass instrument restoration and repair shop located in Carson City, NV. Is a vintage Martin Committee T3460 trumpet (serial number 551354). The bore of the horn is medium large. The bell is 4 7/8. The engraving is crisp and clean, and reads The/ Martin/ Committee Model/ Kensha, WIS. This horn looks beautiful and plays very well. The valves have excellent compression, do not appear to have any wear at all and feel very mechanically sound, with no wiggle from side to side. As for the aesthetic condition of the horn, the silver plate is in excellent condition with little to no wear, and t. He slides, valve caps, finger buttons and the inside of the bell are all 24K gold plated, which makes the horn look stunning. There are a few tiny dings and a few small scratches, as well as a little bit of wavyness in the bell flare and bow. This horn has Amado style piston water keys rather than normal lever and cup type water keys. All this is visible in the pictures, and none of it affects the playability of the horn. This instrument has been professionally cleaned in our shop and repaired to full playability. This trumpet comes with a mouthpiece in good condition, and a hardshell case. Very nice King 1055t “player” in very good condition from the early seventies, serial 470, xxx. Definitely not a museum piece; it’s without a case, has a few flaws, could use some silver polish and maybe new valve rubber, but MAN is it a great playing horn that I’ve priced accordingly! Please look at my pics carefully, as I’ve done my best to show any flaws. The leadpipe appears to be clean w/o issues. Valves are smooth and fast. V1 has some plating wear and small amount of compression loss. V2 and V3 are both excellent (using Al Cass oil). Some plating wear on bottom caps is all I can find. Corrosion on valve stems (can’t figure that one out). Few small scratches and “flea bites” that don’t show up in pics. One-inch very shallow crease line on bell (see last pic). 1970s Bach Stradivarius Model 37 ML Bb Trumpet Lightweight 37. Made in early 1970s. Has quite a bit of wear. The 1st slide trigger was removed. The rear tuning slide brace is loose/removable. The previous owner did that on purpose. The 3rd slide nuts are Silver plated replacements. The valve compression is not too bad. The slides make a pop when pulled. An ugly horn that actually plays very well. No case or mouthpiece.
