I’m downsizing my trumpet collection and decided to let go of my Conn 8B Artist lightweight model trumpet. It is from 1972 with a serial number R15178. This was the go to model for jazz artists such as Freddie Hubbard, Lee Morgan, and Woody Shaw back in the day. It contains scratches, and finish wear consistent with a pre owned instrument, and there are numerous ding/ripples along the back bell curve and on to the bell tail. All lacquer has been removed on the leadpipe from the receiver to just past the pinky hook. All braces are tight and secure. It comes in a nice King hard case and a Conn 5 mouthpiece. The rim has a couple of nicks in it. Please be sure to view all pictures for a complete representation of this written description.
