Mid 1930s Martin Imperial Handcraft #2 Bore Bb Trumpet. The finish is excellent with a few scuffs. Light blemishesaroundthe bell rim. Light wear on the valves. It comes with what I believe is the original case. Also a high-quality screw rim, custom mouthpiece. The second is Getzen in fair condition. A Mute is also included and the original Martin care card! The M opens up and is a brochure. It gives you information on how to care for your new Martin trumpet!! I haven’t seen many. Very nice playing and looking Martin. 1935 MARTIN HANDCRAFT IMPERIAL CORNET #2. 453 (MEDIUM) BORE S/N # 111133 IN GOOD+ READY TO PLAY CONDITION! THE BELL IS APP. 4 3/4 INCHES IN DIAMETER. THE MARTIN HANDCRAFT IMPERIAL TRUMPETS/CORNETS MADE BEFORE 1940 WERE THE TOP-OF-THE-LINE, PROFESSIONAL HORNS. IN 1940 THE COMMITTEE BECAME The Top OF THE LINE. BUT SOME LIKE THE PRE-COMMITTEE IMPERIALS BETTER. AFTER 1939, IMPERIALS ARE INTERMEDIATE HORNS. THIS 161/2-INCH-LONG HORN PLAYS WELL AND HAS A SMOOTH, MELLOW TONE. A GOOD HORN FOR RECORDING! THIS HORN HAS NEW VALVE SPRINGS AND TOP FELTS, SO THE VALVES ARE FAST, EASY, AND QUIET. THE ORIGINAL CASE AND THE MARTIN #7 SILVER-PLATED MOUTHPIECE ARE IN GOOD CONDITION! THE HORN WAS SOAKED AND CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT AND THE VALVES AND SLIDES HAVE BEEN OILED AND. THE HORN IS IN RAW BRASS AND HAS SURFACE SCRATCHES AND SMALL DINGS. THE REAR 1ST VALVE SLIDE HAS 1 PRONG. All ARE COSMETIC AND DON’T AFFECT THE FUNCTION AND PLAYING OF THE HORN. THE ART DECO ETCHING ON THE BELL & PIPE HAVE BEEN WORN FROM DECADES IF POLISHING. SOME DISCOLORED SPOTS IN PLACES (SEE PHOTOS). Leblanc Paris 707 Sonic Trumpet with. 453 Bore, 4 5/8 bell, and nickel plated pistons. Elaborately engraved and maintained with extra care taken to preserve the original finish, internal finish and function. Responsibly owned, cared for and played. All three pistons in same condition as the one pictured. All valves and sliding parts perform without issue. Any cosmetic wear is incidental to the trumpet’s age and use. Martin Large Bore Indiana trumpet

For sale is my Martin Indiana trumpet serial number 130686. This trumpet was made in the early 1960s and is marked Martin Indiana made in USA. It was made during the RMC period. It is a great player and in good condition for its age. The lacquer has been removed and the horn is raw brass except for some of the slides that are nickel plated. It has some small dents in the bell crook, the tubing where it enters the 1st valve casing, and some dings along the bell tubing. Please examine the pictures closely although the smaller dings along the bell tubing do not show well in the photos. All slides pull and the valves are in good shape. The trumpet is a large bore. Yes a few Indianas were in large bore but they are scarce. I have a host of Martin trumpets. Most of the Handcraft models and the Committees and Imperials. This Indiana plays as well as any that I have. A great alternative to the Committee and a lot cheaper. Comes with a non original case for protection and a mouthpiece that works well with it.
