Vintage Conn Trumpet Victor PLAYS WELL! Elkhart 1930s Opera Glass Tuning Patina. Playing – This is good playing horn. Tuning slides and valves move well. Valve compression is very good for it’s age. Serial Number – SN 292219, I think, placing it’s manufactor in 1933. The Serial number is almost worn off and is very hard to read. Overall it looks good with a dark patina. The bell engraving is almost worn off. Someone has engraved their name and number on the bell. Evidence of previous repair and modification. Serviced – Horn has been completely serviced including chemical cleaning, hand-washing, and ultrasonic clearning. Springs, felts and corks have been replaced as needed. Play tested to ensure playability. Case – Includes a modern case in good condition. Mouthpiece – Includes an Olds 3C mouthpiece in good condition. It has some tool marks. This is a vintage horn. Vintage horns can be wonderful to play but are not new. They do not always function like a modern horn with a character all their own. They are not suitable for beginners. This collection of screws is from a now closed brass instrument repair shop. It contains many samples of the Allied screws such as lyre holder screws (A440, 441, 442, 443, 1690), wing screws (A444, 445, 446, 448, 449, 1691,), and tuba bell screws (A212). There are also several different kinds of stop arms and stop arm screws; and stop plates and stop plate screws. You can also get a good idea of the contents from the picture that includes the upper lid of the box. The Allied screws alone are worth c. At Allied’s present prices. The stop arms etc. Would add to that.

1977 Vincent Bach Stradivarius Trumpet Model 37 Silver S180ML 100451 Case Mute

Trumpet appears to have been well cared for. There is one tiny dent about nine inches past the bell, and imperfections in the finish. I do recognize that this is a beautiful, well made instrument that needs to be in the hands of someone that will put it to good use. The receipt indicates Model S180 ML (Medium Large Bore). Bell is Marked Stradivarius 37, Elkhart, IND. Case in very good condition (missing keys) but is not locked. 2 Mouth pieces marked Vincent Bach Corp. 10 1/2C and 7C (shank seems to have s slight imperfection, opening not perfectly round). Box for the 10 1/2 C mouthpiece #351. Empty bottle of Selmer Valve Oil. Original bill of sale dated 1/24/1977. To be packaged with care to ensure safe arrival. Serviced – Horn has been completely serviced including chemical cleaning, hand-washing, and ultrasonic clearning. Springs, felts and corks have been replaced as needed.
