Bach Model 72 Stradivarius Professional Bb Trumpet SN 147017 GREAT PLAYER. This is a great playing Bach Stradivarius model 72 (lightweight bell) professional trumpet. The trumpet played by more professionals than any other, the Bach Strad is the standard to which all other professional trumpets is compared. This instrument features the 72 bell which is a large bore for a full sound. This horn has a big, dark sound and exceptional dynamic control. This 1977 vintage instrument is in great playing condition. Original silver plate is about 50% present with a lot of wear around the valve clusters. Valves are good and tight, and this horn plays GREAT. We are proud to be an authorized Bach dealer.

PLEASE READ LISTING IN FULL / SEE ALL PHOTOS. Please note this horn has had repairs, has a dent wrinkle in the bell and bell rounded brace has been soldered / repaired in the past, to bell braces may have been resoldered and leadpipe may have had dents / dings removed as I see wear there. Brass appears to be healthy though. Horn could use internal cleaning but is ready to play upon receipt. The great news is that Valves are very good with great compression and all slides are coming out. The bell wrinkle is not really a big job for a repairman but horn can be played as it is now. It’s been play tested and the wrinkle does not appear to affect the tone. It is a very good vintage quality HN White King era Cleveland Ohio Liberty horn and it will last. I personally like horns with age wear. If you do as well than this maybe a great horn for you? ! Lacquer appear to be original as engraving is crisp and easy to read. Appears to be a medium bore horn but plays open with great tone. Very good horn for jazz playing and with the vintage vibe. No case or mouthpiece included. Most likely you will find your answer in the description. Listing today for sale great player GETZEN SUPER DELUXE Bb TRUMPET with copper accents and believe leadpipe also to be a copper nature. Whole horn is a very unique Getzen design with unique bracings etc… This is earlier Getzen design serial #68xxx. This horn was in my possession for the past few years but it was sleeping in the case most of its time. I used to play test and compare lots of horns together. A couple of days ago test driven it at home and this horn plays awesome and is very handy to hold. It also could be the large bore as slides look pretty large but my caliper battery is out. It’s a great jazz horn and should do in lead work as well. Horn has wear and tear and scratches appears to have had bell repair long ago which left few lines see photos. These lines cannot be really felt by finger and appears that it was more like a wrinkle repair not a major repair. Horn has rounded tuning slide design pretty innovative like for that period. Copper accents present on slides. Very unique design of pull knobs on slides and also water keys easy to operate. Beside some wear this horn is full of life with all slides sliding abs smooth Getzen valves with great compression. Horn comes with original case in great shape very handy and original Getzen mouthpiece which will need cleaning. Spotted a couple of minor dings don’t see any resolderings. GREAT PLAYER READY TO GIG! RAW BRASS JAZZY PATINA! SUPER GIFT FOR THE JAZZ PLAYER! VINTAGE MARTIN COMMITTEE #15xxxx BEST ERA Bb JAZZ TRUMPET! I used to compare many horns to each other for playability. I learned a lot by doing this both about myself and about horns. For your consideration vintage Martin Committee #15xxxx range Medium bore best period of mid 1940s Bb Trumpet model. This is medium bore with 4.75 bell flare. These Committees are great players and this one is certainly one of these! The horn has had few repairs done as advertised in the above section. After that it was chemically aged so patina looks like a camo raw brass plus this was done few years ago so the patina also naturally aged after that. The engraving on the bell as well as serial numbers are fully readable and visible. The bell engraving is the one from the lighter ones not cut deeply into the bell. Leadpipe has 3 scratches as on photo but these look more dramatic than these are. Bell flare does not appear to be repaired. As far as I remember the horn needed to be straighten out a bit and reinforced and this was only done what needed to be done, Brass is healthy. Compression is top notch and valves are smooth. All slides are coming out as shown on the last photo. 3rd slide ring is a duplicate of original ring in brass and screw non original is holding it well and functions as it should. All the repairs were done pro and very clean and without knowing are hard to spot. This horn is straight and ready for action! Horn comes with safe and secure for a gig or home carriage / storage BRAND NEW! Wolfpack gig case with straps and an additional exterior compartment. I’m including Bach 3C most popular size mouthpiece of more modern nature so you can start playing right away upon receipt. Also original Martin lyre is included great for outdoor events. Alexander 103 French Horn from 1912 Rare Collector's Item and Great Player

You rarely see these early Alexander 103s for sale! The Alexander 103 was first put into production in 1907. This Alexander 103 was dated to 1912 from an Alexander employee, at the very least Pre-WWI. It had a recent valve job so it plays great! Great highs, strong lows, intonation consistent. Smaller bore than the modern 103s. The horn is built at A=438 (common late Romantic pitch) and takes a narrow shank mouthpiece, but with the right mouthpiece it can play at A=440 fine with the main and Bb tuning slides pushed in. If necessary there is room to shorten either the main or Bb tuning slide to bring it more easily up to modern pitch. The bell and bell tail have numerous patches, but the metal is otherwise strong.
