It looks rather rough around the edges – however it is among the easiest saxophones that I have ever played – no joke, nor exaggeration. It has spent the entirety of its previous life as a New York City professional performance sax – that to me explains why this particular Mark VI plays so ridiculously amazingly… It has lots of resolders, dents, dings, etc. Common for a legitimate performance sax of this vintage. The original Selmer key pearls and rollers are intact. Thoroughly deep cleaned & overhauled… It is fully sorted and ready to continue gigging and blowing audiences away! All it really needs is a wipe down of the patina – if you like. New leather pads with domed metal resonators (not the typical plastic resonators). Fresh cork and felt touches. It plays way way better than it looks – like a dream – effortlessly from the top – all the way to the bottom. Vintage saxophones this special don’t come along every day, make an offer..
