Conn 201BR Trumpet With Case & Mouthpiece Accessories Made In USA actually comes with two mouthpieces one marked Bach 7C and one just marked 7C See pictures.
Conn trumpet, case, and mouthpiece. This most probably was professionally relaquered at one time? Slides are nice, one spot on the main tuning slide. I can’t find one scratch or dings. This is an 8. Slides are the same bore and the bell size if I remember correctly. The 2b had a larger bore 1st valve slide. These are all the same bore size.. Please do your own research. The valves have slight wear. Recently cleaned and padded. It will need minor restoration. I can provide more pictures and measurements. This is priced very reasonably but offers considered. Case isn’t musty, clean.
Conn 22B Trumpet 1952 – Ready to Play – Case and Bach Mt Vernon 7C MP Bore. 438 – Serial# 407. A great playing 22B model with fast valves and smooth slides. Everything moves nicely, horn has inner curve tuning slide damage from being severely stuck and has been expanded as much as possible without disassembling. Case is a little rough but solid and a very nice Bach Mt Vernon 7C mouthpiece is included. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Most of my horns have sat for long periods of time before reconditioning and need to be cleaned again soon after being brought back into service. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. UpYourBrass Policies (please read). If you have any questions or problems with your instrument, please contact UYB first for any issues if needing to return an instrument for being not as described. The shipper will not offer any compensation unless these steps are taken.

> What do the trumpets look like. Not the most imaginative name. It really is called the “Sixty-One B”. In 1967 Conn started to produce the 60B, and it lasted at least through 1972. The Conn 61B is essentially that same horn. It had a #1½ bore (0.458) and top spring valves. It was available in standard brass and with a “bright silver finish”. I have been contacted by a gentleman by the name of Bill Bracker who was an Inspection Supervisor for Conn at the time. He tells me the official name for the 60B was “Super Connstellation”. One of Conn’s clinicians at the time, the trumpet player Jerry Franks, was responsible for the design of the 60B and had the very first 60B prototype. The problem in production was easily fixed for the second production run. What Conn said in 1966: The most versatile, the finest trumpet ever created by Conn. Designed for the professional. Includes three sets of interchangeable finger tips. Completely new acoustical and mechanical design throughout. Ideal for studio, recording, solo or band work. The above was taken from the internet on a Conn 60B. THIS IS A CONN 61B. This Conn 61B trumpet is a rare find for any professional musician. With a bore size of. 458 and a brass body material, this instrument is perfect for those with expert experience levels. The valve type is a piston with 3 valves, and the finish material is nickel. The trumpet features a water key and finger hook, making it easy to play for extended periods without any discomfort. The leadpipe material is brass with a nickel plated valve material, and the bell material is also brass. This instrument is a standard type with a Bb key, and it was manufactured in the United States. It’s perfect for any trumpet player who wants to take their skills to the next level. No case or mouthpiece.
This listing is for a raw brass 1951 Conn Pan American trumpet that is in EXCELLENT CONDITION for a 73-year-old vintage trumpet! The early 1950’s are considered by many to be some of the best years for American manufactured student trumpets that were hand-made by skilled craftsmen (like those who made the professional model trumpets). It holds two mouthpieces and provides large compartments to carry mutes, valve oil, etc. It has both side and top handles (plus hidden backpack straps that are neatly concealed under a cover that is secured by Velcro while not in use). This trumpet looks and sounds AMAZING! It has excellent slotting and intonation. There are a few super tiny dents and micro surface scratches that are only visible when looking very closely (so be sure to zoom in on all the photos). All valves and slides function perfectly! The finish of this trumpet is raw brass with beautiful patina raw brass valve caps and finger buttons for a cool contrasting color! However, the raw brass look may not be for everyone. A school band student may appreciate a plated or lacquered trumpet that doesn’t need to be wiped down after use to maintain a shiny appearance. Note: A raw brass finish will darken with a beautiful brass patina, which forms an ultra-thin protective layer. The raw brass instrument is free to resonate without a thick layer of sound dampening lacquer. Not having lacquer does not shorten the life of a brass instrument as long as the instrument is kept clean and is stored in its case in a good environment (not in a damp basement or shed for example). Simply wiping off the outer surfaces with a hand towel after playing will keep it looking good. Remember that the inside surfaces of all brass instruments are raw brass, so all brass instruments should be kept clean (inside and out) by wiping them down and storing them in their cases in a good environment when not in use. The fit and finish of this American made trumpet is very impressive! This is definitely one of the highest quality trumpets that you can find at this low price! With proper care and maintenance, which includes applying valve oil e. Blue Juice and tuning slide grease e. Bach 2942 on a regular basis, this trumpet can last a lifetime. I personally recommend using valve oil every time it is played to insure continued longevity and optimal performance. I personally tested, cleaned and lubricated this instrument. I hereby certify that it is fully functional, and is all ready to play. Please note that included is a brand new ProTec MAX MX301 case (see photo). Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your consideration.
