Because the Tanabe Band Instrument Co. Completely ceased operations in 1954, this instrument is a certified pre-1954 antique and a fascinating piece of early Japanese musical heritage. The bell features a gorgeous, ornate floral hand-engraving that reads:Greatest Name in the World – TANABE – Founded 1897 – Band Instrument Co. TOKYOCondition Details:Finish: Stripped down to beautiful bare brass and polished. It has a wonderful vintage look and a warm, resonant patina. Playability: The horn plays well! The valves move freely and the slides are functional. Wear/Damage: There are a couple of tiny, minor dings on the body that are barely noticeable and do not affect the sound or playability. It could use a fresh set of valve felt pads/washers to optimize the action, but it is playable as-is. Included: Includes the cornet and a mouthpiece. NO CASE IS INCLUDED. Please review all photos carefully to assess the physical condition. This is an incredible find for collectors of rare brass winds or anyone looking for a unique, historical horn with a wonderful story.

Vintage American Artist Saxophone Engraved Brass Musical Instrument Parts Repair. Vintage American Artist saxophone featuring an engraved bell with the “American Artist” name and decorative engraving. This is an older instrument showing substantial age and use, including dents, dings, scratches, tarnish, oxidation, finish loss, discoloration, and other wear throughout. Please review all photos carefully as they are an important part of the condition description. It should be assumed that cleaning, adjustment, pads, repairs, and/or restoration will be needed. The removable brass neck/elbow fitting and mouthpiece are considerably newer than the main saxophone body and should not be assumed to be original to the instrument. The main saxophone body measures approximately 24 inches long, not including the removable neck and mouthpiece. An interesting vintage American Artist saxophone for restoration, parts, collecting, or display. Please examine all photos closely for condition, components, and exactly what is included.

Vintage King Cleveland 600 Brass Trumpet Gold finish student-level Withcase

Up for sale is a vintage King Cleveland Bb trumpet, proudly Made in U. Complete with its original hard case and mouthpiece. This trumpet has been play tested and produces sound well. The valves move smoothly and return properly. The instrument has not been professionally serviced or inspected, but it appears to be a solid vintage student trumpet that is ready to play or would make an excellent restoration project. Cosmetically, the trumpet shows normal wear from years of use, including scratches, lacquer wear, finish loss, light oxidation, and other signs of age. I do not see any major dents or crushed tubing. Please note: The first valve slide thumb saddle/ring assembly is missing (see photos). This does not prevent the trumpet from producing sound, but the missing part should be disclosed and may be replaced if desired. The original hard case is included. The case has cosmetic wear including scuffs, scratches, and edge wear consistent with age and use. The latches function properly and the case securely protects the instrument. King Cleveland Bb Trumpet. Original hard case included. Produces sound when played. Tuning slides are present. Missing first valve thumb saddle/ring assembly. No major dents observed. Normal cosmetic wear from age and use. Original case shows cosmetic wear but remains functional. This is a nice vintage American-made trumpet that would be a great choice for a student, collector, or musician looking for a quality King instrument.
