This is a vintage 1957 F. Olds and Son Studio Trumpet with a large. It includes the original Olds 3 mouthpiece, lyre, plastic valve guard, and case. The trumpet features a lacquer finish with silverplate accents. It has a trombone style water key on the tuning side. All original parts, no repairs noticed. Valves are serialized and match the valve block. Valves have good compression and horn has a bright tone for a large bore. This trumpet went with the owner to Vietnam, who played it in the U. Army there during the war. My husband is a trumpet player, and there is a video included in this listing showing him playing it. He did not use the Olds mouthpiece. He used his Callet mouthpiece for this video.
