This horn is in very good used condition and was well maintained by the previous owner. The shiny gold-lacquered brass finish is approx. 95% intact and besides some normal spots of light handwear, has a beautiful shine. Getzen lacquer has proven to be very beautiful and very durable. This trumpet has nickel silver trim and inner slides and a nickel silver leadpipe. The Getzen 300 model was designed to be a high quality student model trumpet. Serial number is G22XXX and the bell flare is engraved GETZEN 300 SERIES ELKHORN, WIS. This trumpet has smooth quick valves and Getzen makes some of the smoothest most reliable pistons in the business. All the slides move freely and have just been lubricated. Please check out the 12 photos. There are some shallow dents/dings in the bell section and some evidence of dent removal on part of the bell flare. This trumpet also features a 1st slide saddle for easy tuning, an adjustable 3rd slide ring, mother-of-pearl finger button tops and Amado “push-button” style waterkeys. This Getzen 300 is very easy blowing with a sweet beautiful tone. This one comes with its original padded Getzen case, which has soft plush lining, a shoulder strap, an accessory storage pocket, and the GETZEN logo stitched on the exterior.
