Conn Director Trumpet 16B – Reconditioned – Case & Bach 7C MP Bore. 456 – Serial# GK820. Sweet 80’s Conn horn, post Yamaha production. Receiver to bell brace required replacement and soldering. Horn has 955% lacquer and is ready to play. Valves are smooth, slide move great and third slide feels good. Solid case and Bach 7C mouthpiece is included. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read).
