All valves and slides have been lubricated and move freely. The top and bottom valve caps move freely. This trumpet was play tested throughout the various registers. This beautiful 1980s vintage trumpet is in great gently used condition and is all ready to play right out of the case. The original rich gold-lacquered brass finish is 99% intact and has a gorgeous shine showing only some light scratches and some very small blemishes. This Conn 20B trumpet features nickel silver trim, an adjustable 3rd slide ring and traditional lever-style waterkeys. This model is the original Wayne Bergeron model, and for the life of us we don’t know why he switched to Yamaha. This one is silver plated and in great shape! There is some very mild cosmetic scratches a marks on the silver plating but no dents or substantially damage. They are not making these anymore.. The Model 1600 was developed with Los Angeles big band and studio work in mind. It sounds warm and lyrical in the staff, but will really sizzle in the upper register when you want it to. Easy blowing and agile, this trumpet features a lightweight yellow brass bell carefully balanced with a special mouthpipe and medium large bore. Formerly known as the “WB” Model, this trumpet was designed for the fabulous Wayne Bergeron whose sound can be heard on numerous soundtracks, jingles and the Big Phat Band.
