Bach, NY Stradivarius Trumpet 1928 w/ Original 1928 Case. #1030, Large Bore, #9 Leadpipe and 6G Bell. This is a beautiful horn inside and out especially for its age. The silver plating is in excellent condition, it has new valve pads and waterkey cork. The valves are smooth and fast but will need to be replated. The mouthpiece receiver over the years had stretched so a mouthpiece would bottom out. I replaced it with a new NY Bach model edition mouthpiece receiver and it is marked #9. A while back the horn tipped over on a trumpet floor stand and slightly bent the rear of the bell, I had it straightened but there are two small ripples in the back of the bell. (See pics) One ripple is adjacent to the first valve slide and the other is adjacent to the first valve. The front of the bell has never been dented. The engraving on the bell is clear and crisp, the numbers on the bell read 6G and 1928. The trumpet comes with its original case, interior still in fine condition.
