Up for sale is a Bach Stradivarius Trumpet. I looked up the serial number and it appears to have been manufactured early 1960’s. This horn is in very good condition without dents. All the slides move freely. The valves are working fine. This horn has been used by a player that took very good care of the instrument. Included in the sale is are some mutes, valve oil, a Conn mouthpiece and a case. The case is missing the handle and has been replaced by a wire. The case does close properly. Conn 30M Connqueror Tenor Saxophone 1937 275xxx No Reserve

The 30M’s are a fairly rare/premium Conn pre-WWII Tenor, and include sterling silver key touches on all non-mother of pearl keys. The pads seal and have flat metal resonators with rivets. The horn needs minor adjustment to play well; existing pad seal is ok. The horn itself has been re-lacquered/buffed, though the original engraving is still evident. The horn has some minor dings, dimples and evidence of past dent work, especially on the outer part of the bow. The body and key work is in good shape overall without any obvious re-solder work. Lower stack trill key is absent from the horn. The neck is an original 30M neck and seals well to the body. Olds French Model trumpet. This vintage Olds has been chem-cleaned and received some dent removal and has had new corks/felts and valve springs installed. The valves are pretty worn and work well. The top cap for the second valve was fabricated by Josh Landress. I’ve tried to get pics of flaws… The third valve adjusting slide ring is not original. Lacquer is non-existent in places. Engraving on the bell is sharp and clear.. Slides all move well. So now is your chance. Comes in a new Wolfpak case. Please look closely at the pics and contact me with any questions. A Reynolds Trombone with original case. Based on the serial number, it should have been manufactured in the late 1930’s before the war. Between 71/4 and 71/2. Looks two-tone at certain places… He tarnishing is indicative of the age of the horn and use due to the natural acidic oils in the hands. Olds Mendez Trumpet One of the First Ever Made Los Angeles 1952 No RESERVE

If you know these horns , than you know what this is. 86,121 is the 8th oldest documented Mendez trumpet including the 79, xxx prototype. The oldest regular production number known is 86,004. Take a look at the pix. This is an older restoration as I have had this for years (10±). Done up in Gold Lacquer and the finger buttons are the original Gold plated. When I got it , although the horn was physically in great shape the Lacquer was in poor shape and just flaking off. To protect it and be able to play it on gigs I had it redone. One unusual thing was it had a Besson style finger hook that was added by the PO. My brass tech made me a copy of a Mendez finger hook brazing a ring to a base , just like the original Olds. Normally the front of the ring is cut out but I like it whole aka LA Ambassador. The valves have not been rebuilt but are in fabulous shape. Very fast and light and all the slides “pop” when you pull them out so I don’t think they leak. No case or mouthpiece. The horn is a real Beauty, super straight and a real player not perfect, just a few flea bites That don’ even show up in the pictures. Still, but no dents or wear. Great for a collection or to play on a gig, which I have many a time. Just didn’t put it on a Horn stand or used mutes. (Ok I babied it).
