VINTAGE KEILWERTH THE NEW KING Bb TENOR SAX ORIGINAL LACQUER PLAYS GREAT

This Keilwerth “The New King” tenor is one of the nicer Keilwerth horns I’ve played. It plays and responds well. We are going to replace some of the palm key pads and some of the other smaller pads that are showing some wear. There are a couple of dings we will remove as well with the magnet system. All the parts are original. The large plastic key guard and the clothes guard behind the lower stack is in great condition. They have never been broken and glued. The serial number on the neck and body is 41XXX. The original case will be included. Please observe all pictures and read the item description carefully. Conn Chu Berry tenor saxophone. The man who inherited this sax from his dad said it had been sitting in closet several years long but it had a professional serviced year ago. He mostly plays guitar instead. Very good pads, well seal, no leak. All springs response well. Very beautiful sound as it’s fame. Nail file G# key. Play easily from bottom to top. One thing confusing is the lacquer, not sure it original or not so I assume that it has been relacquered. Normal sign of wear. No hard scratches, no dent or crack. Just very few pin head marks. Come with original neck, original hard shell case, original music holder. Neck í not bend down. Serial # starts with M. Beautiful playing horn ideal for a soloist looking for a dark and full sound. Rippling in the bell and a small spot of red rot on the lead pipe that won’t show on camera but does not affect the playability of the horn. This wont have to be resolved immediately.
