You can see it in the pictures. The horn is gold lacquer. Someone commented the pictures didnt clearly show this. This is a Boosey and Hawkes Sovereign medium bore B flat cornet, Model No. 920, dating to 1981. It is in good condition and is a lovely player. It is very easy to blow and is beautifully in tune, with a huge rich full sound. The silver plating, which is original, is worn in places. All the slides, triggers and valves move very well, and the water corks are in good condition. It was recently professionally serviced, oiled and greased, and the trigger springs have been replaced. This much-loved cornet comes with its original Boosey and Hawkes hard blue Sovereign case, which has had stickers on it in the past.
