Very nice vintage YORK Trumpet # 593850 mid 60’s? The horn plays great and easy. The slides are quick and quiet, with good compression. The valves have stains, but this does not effect function. The slides move very easily. The third finger hook holder is missing. The case is in good condition, but has some tape on one end (see photos) –the interior shows no evidence of breakage. The mouthpiece is a vintage elkhart, and has been sanitized. Fine vintage horn, ready to play.
This is a professional King 2270 double French horn! This horn plays fantastic! Slides and rotors moth smoothly. The King 2270 was designed by George McCracken. This horn features an open Krupse-like wrap with a wide open bell throat. This horn is very free blowing with an extremely rich low register. This horn shows signs of lacquer wear as it’s used but nothing that takes away from the playability! This is a great playing professional horn at an affordable price. CONN CONSTELLATION TRUMPET – H45529 – plays. Nickel and copper pieces show wear but no damage. Valve 3 is stuck and won’t remove easily. Includes constellation case and mouthpiece.

Appears to be original, the tone ring is brass. Case is not bad from the 1940s, the right clasp spring is broken.

This has been used overall very gently and plays well but does have a dent/bend on the bell (see pics). Trumpet functions as it’s supposed to and would make a great first trumpet. Valves are poppy and slides move freely. Unfortunately it was dropped and hit the ground at the bell but there are no cracks or anything like that, just the twisted bend that can be overlooked but is obviously there.
