I’ve shown it to a couple of friends who are players, and they played it and loved it. The valves and slides move freely, and the tone is amazing. One player said it might have been professionally re-lacquered at some point, I can’t be sure. I did notice the bottom valve cover on #2 is different than the other 2, so it’s likely it was replaced along the way. All in all, it’s in amazing condition for being almost 100 yrs old. Comes with original case (1 broken latch).
This Getzen Copper body Caravelle is a gem of a instrument. Great sound and looks! Ready to play, beautiful and vintage. Valves and tuning slides are very smooth. Has one small dent near the valve section, and shows some ware do to it’s age. Please check the pictures. Comes with the very good e-z tone U. A cornet mouthpiece, and vintage case.

Vintage Olds case only In very good condition. This came to me some time ago, I believe it had an Olds Custom in it, this was the upper end case for Olds Super, Custom, Mendez ETC. In the late 1960s into early 70s. All latches work perfectly and case looks near new inside and out. If you have a nice Olds Custom, Mendez, Recording from the late 1960s early 70s this is the factory deluxe case for your horn (will fit most any Olds horn). Factory blanket inside, cubby for mouthpieces, end handle etc. All in great condition. Very nice case for vintage Olds trumpet. Remarkable condition, looks and smells fine.

Beautiful Olds Recording circa 1968! This horn plays amazing and it’s hard for me to part with. The 3rd slide trigger, ergonomic valves, and balanced valve block makes it one of the most comfortable trumpets to hold and play. Scratching on lacquer throughout the instrument. One dent on the crook of the bell, and the 1st slide is stuck, but has not affected the playability. Comes with the original case and a gold plated mouthpiece from Olds as well.
1966 Olds Ambassador NA10M trumpet, great proven player, fully disassembled and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Valve ports were precisely aligned with horn ports using premium Valentino quiet pads and corks via the borescope method. All pads and corks replaced with new premium parts. All caps and buttons thread easily and seat fully without drama. Excellent original condition with very minor lacquer loss on leadpipe and finger hook. This appears to be a lightly used, well maintained 59 year old “closet queen”. This instrument plays very well with good intonation from pedal tones up through High C, my upper range. It has a rich, full tone as expected from Olds. It is efficient with excellent response. It is an excellent student grade instrument that is far superior to today’s imported offerings costing 3 or 4 times as much. This would be a great choice for a student, returning player or as a backup horn for a professional. Includes case and Getzen 7C mouthpiece in excellent condition.
