Roth was a brand made by the Cleveland Musical Instrument Company. What’s in the case. The cornet itself appears to be in very good condition, with normal wear. The red-tipped item is a straight mute, probably made of aluminum and fiberboard. There’s also a bottle of valve oil, which is essential for keeping the valves moving smoothly.
