Getzen Silver Frumpet in F – Reconditioned – with Case and new Mouthpiece LB Bore. 462 – Serial# K64. Horn is in good condition with 95% plating. Scratches and general signs of use, Bell flair, taper and tail required dent work. The 2nd slide has a replaced pull tab and the female mount has been re-soldered as well. The valves are fast with excellent compression, slides are smooth, caps thread easily and the horn plays great! Case is in very good shape and the horn comes with a new generic mouthpiece. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read).
