Getzen Deluxe 2 valve (valve & rotor) bugle. Nickel plate, great shape, a few minor dings, and what looks like a bit of plating wear on the bottom of the valve. Slides are all free and valves work as they should. Bell has what appears to be factory “black Knights” engraving which is pretty cool. Plays and sounds great. Case is in good shape- not stinky! Getzen Eterna Tunable Bell Trumpet. This is identical to the horn I used as the lead trumpet with the Airmen of Note. I bought this one a few years ago. It’s an amazing horn but, I’ve learned that I don’t use as much air as I did when I was in my 20’s. I just can’t fill this large bore horn up anymore. Getzen Super Deluxe Trumpet – Reconditioned – Original Case & Getzen Deluxe MP Bore. 456 – Serial# G1. Lovely later model Super Deluxe with reverse 3rd slide and slide lock. This one has the later model famous Getzen valves and the earlier valve caps. Not sure of actual production year with no info on the G serial numbers. Horn plays great and is in excellent original condition, and required bell flair work. Everything is smooth, case is solid with good latches and hinges, instrument comes with a Getzen Deluxe ML mouthpiece. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read). This horn is in very good used condition and was well maintained by the previous owner. The shiny gold-lacquered brass finish is approx. 95% intact and besides some normal spots of light handwear, has a beautiful shine. Getzen lacquer has proven to be very beautiful and very durable. This trumpet has nickel silver trim and inner slides and a nickel silver leadpipe. The Getzen 300 model was designed to be a high quality student model trumpet. Serial number is G22XXX and the bell flare is engraved GETZEN 300 SERIES ELKHORN, WIS. This trumpet has smooth quick valves and Getzen makes some of the smoothest most reliable pistons in the business. All the slides move freely and have just been lubricated. The item for sale today is a Beautiful Vintage Getzen Trumpet. The model is a Eterna Serinsen. It is silver plated and has mother of pearl keys. The serial number on the trumpet is SK34104. Included with it is a hard case, two mouth pieces, mutes and some oils for the slides. The trumpet is used and does have wear from old age and previous use. It has been sitting for a while, so there trumpet has some tarnish on the outside but overall is in good condition for how old it is. The slides also have some cosmetic wear (tarnish) as seen in the photos, but they are still in working condition. There are very minimal dents and scratches on the trumpet. It could probably use a professional cleaning, but overall, it is in good condition for its age. Please if you have any questions feel free to ask.
