Getzen Super Deluxe Trumpet – Reconditioned – Original Case & Getzen Deluxe MP Bore. 456 – Serial# G1. Lovely later model Super Deluxe with reverse 3rd slide and slide lock. This one has the later model famous Getzen valves and the earlier valve caps. Not sure of actual production year with no info on the G serial numbers. Horn plays great and is in excellent original condition, and required bell flair work. Everything is smooth, case is solid with good latches and hinges, instrument comes with a Getzen Deluxe ML mouthpiece. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read).
