This is a Vintage 1965 Bach Bb Trumpet in lacquer finish. Serial number 36396 makes it one of the first horns to come out of the Elkhart shop. I have played and owned many Bach trumpets and this is by far the best one I have owned. I acquired the horn in the midwest from an estate sale. The horn was played but not abused. Shows normal signs of wear for a horn of this age but definitely playable for another lifetime. Look at pics for wear. Sings with that characteristic Bach sound. Seems more open in the upper register than my other Bach horns. Time for me to retire and clean house. Horn needs to be played.
