Olds Studio Model Bb Trumpet, Los Angeles on the bell. In nice shape for it’s age. Valves have good compression with little side to side play. A couple of dings that won’t shown in the pictures. There are scratches here and there but it is a 60+ year old horn. Most of the lacquer is gone. It is a good candidate for a refurbishing I. Valves move well and all slides pull with ease. It is another truly playable example. According to the source from whom I bought this: during this time these studios were made with all brass valve casings. Later studios will have nickel balusters. Since this one has all brass, the result is a little sweeter sound. The bell is the two tone brass and nickel consistent with this time period. No mouthpiece is included; there is a case. It will be insured and trackable. I will be listing other instruments over the next few weeks as well; part of that which I have collected.
