Welcome to Ashantee Music! Matching Exceptional Students With Quality Instruments. We are pleased to offer for sale this Bach Omega silver, intermediate trumpet in Bb. Unlike the newer Omega’s you might see with the oval logo on the bell, this is an original Omega, with the Stradivarius valve block and two-piece bell. It is basically the same as a TR200S with fancy engraving, is about as close to a Stradivarius as Bach has ever made, and is an excellent choice for advanced students and hobbyists. It is in very good condition. Silver about 99.5% with extremely light wear and scratches, and a couple very small dings. As you can see in the photos, it polishes up to be a great-looking horn. All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and smooth with very good compression. Ultrasonic cleaned about a year ago, and just through the shop again where it was cleaned, lubed, and had new water key corks, tuning slide O-rings, piston felts, and stop rod O-ring and nuts installed. Includes a Yamaha 7C mouthpiece, cleaning rod, new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec finger protector, new ProTec slim profile straight mute, and the original hard case in very good condition. One of the best intermediate horns you can get-perfect for concert and marching band–and just in time for Christmas! This is in great working condition, the valves are in amazing shape does not come with a mouthpiece only what you see pictured. Upon advice from a colleague I took this to my horn guy here in Rochester NY in the heart of the Eastman School of Music. He replaced all pads cork & felt. He greased oiled played & appraised this. A nice Buescher True Tone Silver Plated Bb Tenor Saxophone on offer! The horn features a Front high F key, pearled G# and a “man on the moon” neck with salt shaker style octave pip. This True Tone Tenor had an extensive service in May of 2021 (see photo of full service receipt) and is now gleaming and plays nicely from low Bb to high F. The horn’s service includes 12 riveted brown leather new pads, extensive key fitting as well as a full polish. Please note there lyre holder has been long removed and the there is some re-soldering work present on the neck and body–including the neck strap ring being reversed for longer/safer usage. The True Tone Tenor’s finish is well used but 95%+ silver plating still intact with plenty of body/key scratches, dings and evidence of past dent work. The neck is in good shape and seals well to the body with a re-soldered fully functional octave neck key and re-soldered saddle post. White KING Zephyr Baritone Saxophone. This incredible King Zephyr baritone sax was previously owned by the New Orleans saxophone legend, Dr. The horn is a true player’s horn. Incredible resonance, brilliant tone, bold and rich sound and good intonation across the range of the horn. Just overhauled, the horn has new pads with metal resonators, new corks and felts. Original springs are all in great condition. Horn was cleaned and regulated for professional performance. The King Zephyr was the state-of-the-art saxophone in the 1950s, prior to the advent of the Selmer Mark VI and King Super 20. In many ways, the Zephyr horns produce a bolder and richer tone and sound than more modern horns. This horn was manufactured at King’s Cleveland factory and has the double-socket neck. The case is the original King case. It is in good condition for its age and very elegant in its shape. There are a couple of exterior covering blemishes, clearly shown in the pictures. Extensive pictures of the horn below. There have been some metal damage and repairs over its life. The body, bell and upper bow of the horn are all in great overall shape with minimal dents and dings. The finish of the horn is an almost copper / gold finish. She’s a KILLER player!! Model: T350 285 bell, open wrap Thayer valve. 547 bore, gold brass tuning slide, TBCN-17 Slide. The slides were recently gone over by the pros and all move freely with no major hangups. Compression is good with no leaks. The valve moves smoothly with fast action that is quiet, and responsive. The finish is overall quite nice. Previous owner went for the raw brass look, it can be polished to a high luster shine if wanted. See pictures for more details. Comes with a nice, sturdy case. Case does not have a musty smell and seems to have been well taken care of. All latches and one of the zippers works.
