I believe the case is not original, no mouthpiece. Valves 2 & 3 are sticky and slow, looks like valve 1 may be incomplete, see last photo. Otherwise there are some small dings and there maybe the slightest bit of misshapenness on the bell rim.
Mid 1930s Martin Imperial Handcraft #2 Bore Bb Trumpet. The finish is excellent with a few scuffs. Light blemishesaroundthe bell rim. Light wear on the valves. It comes with what I believe is the original case. Also a high-quality screw rim, custom mouthpiece. The second is Getzen in fair condition. A Mute is also included and the original Martin care card! The M opens up and is a brochure. It gives you information on how to care for your new Martin trumpet!! I haven’t seen many. Very nice playing and looking Martin. 1939 Martin Handcraft Standard Bb Trumpet Rare. The finish is excellent besides near the mouthpiece receiver. This is a beautiful, early Martin with a superb tone! The valves have good compression. To be considered a top example, The valves will need a refit, plating. The slides are tight. Medium sprung, nice action. Martin style case in gc included! This is a rare reverse lead pipe Martin very similar to the Committee. Some prefer these because of intonation and ease of play. He said it was in excellent condition. Valves had great compression! It will need Pads, cork. This trumpet was thoroughly gone through, but I suggest an hour or so of shop time. This lovely trumpet is a Martin Handcraft Dansant Bb in satin silver finish w/ gold wash bell #96675. It’s in overall very nice shape with few tiny dings, all valves & slides move freely EXCEPT the 2nd slide stuck (have not tried oiling it). There is some plating wear on the 2nd slide and one of the knobs has gone missing. No exterior catches are on the case but center clasp holds for now. Includes Martin 8 mpc with worn rim. Trumpet plays well as-is but would greatly benefit from a good servicing/PC to be in optimal playing condition. Clean, classic oldie ready for a new home!
