Conn Bb curved soprano saxophone with rolled tone holes. Most keys move freely and no keys are broken or missing. This soprano saxophone needs an overhaul(new pads, corks, springs and a cleaning for play-ability). The tarnished silver plating has scratches throughout, with approximately 85-90% of plating intact. There are no major body dents present and several minor dents can be removed during the overhaul. The serial number is in the low 70, xxx range, which dates the year of manufacture to approximately 1921 and has the letter “L” below the s/n(probably means this is low pitch). Included is a somewhat worn Conn wood shell soprano saxophone case(the latches work as intended, the handle is broken and needs to be replaced) and a used soprano sax mouthpiece/ligature. A Compensated Brass Malmsteen Nut to Help You Achieve Perfect Intonation. Hello again from AxeMasters. Guitar intonation is an often overlooked procedure which, when done properly, helps you get each string properly tuned. This means that your guitar sounds great regardless of whether you’re fretting or playing open chords. How many times have you been playing, sounding great, when you bounce into an open C chord and suddenly the tuning sounds terrible? A properly compensated nut will fix this. Curved Bottom to Fit Fender Malmsteen Style Curved Nut Slot. In our experience, the three treble strings are typically the most bothersome with respect to intonation. So, we’ve specially slotted our compensated nut at the G, B and high E slots. By removing material to the proper depth in those three slots, the scale length for those strings is increased just enough. Now, even if saddle travel is nearing the end, you’ll still get the intonation “just right”. Our CURVED nut is hand ground and sanded from solid musical brass and round-slotted for perfect string placement. All hand-made – no machines.
