White 3B Silversonic Concert Trombone Classic! 360503 Crafted in 1957. Finish: Oven Baked Clear Lacquer. Diameter of the bell: 8 Inches. Bell and Slide Lock: Yes. White King 3B Concert model was designed to meet the special requirements of the professional dance, recording, and symphony artist. The special large bore and 8-inch bell were adopted only after exhaustive tests convinced us that this combination of bore and bell would produce the full, rich-bodied tonal characteristics we were seeking. The 3Bs has an easy upper range, perfect intonation, brilliant tonal qualities that you will not find in similar horns from the same era! Simply put this is one of the best trombones ever made. White Company LLC, this magnificent Trombone with its solid sterling silver bell section is one of the greatest trombones made by The H. The King 3B is a legend for its large bore and eight inch diameter bell. This trombone has been restored. This finish is new oven baked on lacquer. Oven baked on lacquer is more durable and will last longer than just spray on lacquer. The body of the Trombone is in great shape and has almost no scratches. The engraving is crisp. The slide operates smoothly. All parts of the trombone are stamped with the appropriately matched serial numbers. The Trombone has been re-lacquered and is now 99.9% perfect. Gold wash in the bell is new and about 99.9% perfect. This is a serial numbers matching horn. There is one dent on the curved bell brace. There are some very small dings on the trombone. The slide is in good condition and shows no signs of dent work. One of the inner tubes is new. The slide is a ten out of ten. This Trombone comes with its original counterweight. The case is not original to the trombone and is in great shape. This trombone did not come with this case but it is just like one that would have come with the trombone back in the day. The HN White made coffin case is in great shape for its age. The exterior is in fair shape with some very small trouble areas. The interior is in great shape and the color of the fabric is a bright red. The exterior has its King HN White badge. The latches are in working order but the middle latch is broken. The end result of this King 3B Silversonic Concert Trombone makes it worth every penny we spent in restoration, truly amazing. There are many ways to produce sound from whalophone – you can use your bare hands, knock the spikes with your fingers or with mallets, or finally, use a bow which significantly enhances the spectrum of sounds. To create incredible “wah-wah” effect just pour some water inside the whalophone and listen how it talks to you when you play it! Classic whalophone consists of 24 different length rods permanently attached to a stainless steel body with silver joints. High silver content silver joints provide extra durability and a great resonance of the instrument. Rods are made out of brass, alloy known for its great sound properties and transparent timbre. 1970 BACH STRADIVARIUS TRUMPET MODEL 239 CML. At the time I did not realize that it was a. C trumpet and more for professional use. I took it to one music shop to hopefully sell it to them. Although, they did a lot of “oohing and ahhing”, they said that they sell mostly to kids. Just starting out and wouldn’t have the market. So, I took it to a larger music store. The man there said it was a beautiful trumpet and asked a lot of questions on it’s history and such and. Would get the word out. I’m thinking there aren’t many professional trumpet players in my area. Though I don’t have much history, everyone that I have showed it to, or test played it, loved it. Care that it so deserves. I have to apologize for my photos, it was a very difficult subject. Seemed like I was getting reflection from everywhere. The photos don’t do it justice, as it is a very. Serial Number 53494 , indicates that it was made in early 1970 in Elkhorn, IN. Recently cleaned and conditioned. Excellent condition for it’s age. Slides glide easily, valves have great response. Silver plating is intact and shines beautifully. There are a few light scratches here and there. I noted a couple of very small dings in the bell and on curve, will identify those in the last photos. Very small but must mention. Case is not original to the trumpet, but appears to be in good condition. Latches and hinges work. Inside looks clean, but could use some airing out. Some rust on latches. Comes with Vincent Bach 7C mouthpiece and valve oil. Just be sure to check on the details next to. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me. As for t he condition, the horn has been used & is in excellent condition, good working order & plays fine. There is minor scuffing and a little scraping on one of the keys which can be felt when played. Although this does not effect it’s sound or function. Therefore, I’d rate it 9/10 for appearance although 10/10 for sound. Come with Yamaha hard carry case & yamaha mouth piece.
