This is a standard (non-deluxe) #2 bore Martin Committe manufactured in 1949. All slides are free. It has good compression as well. It comes with the original case. Please see the detailed photographs for an accurate description of the overall condition. This Committee comes with everything pictured with the exception of the trumpet stand that I used for the photographs. The Martin Committe is my favorite trumpet for its unique characteristics. Professional trumpet players will like the way they can manipulate the tone and timbre to obtain the sound and projection that they are looking for. I have played this trumpet on many occasions and simply love it! I have another 1949 Deluxe Martin Committee (#2 bore) that I’ve played for 14 years now. Personally, I wouldn’t consider switching to any other trumpet. This is a fantastic trumpet for a professional or collector.
Apelila Trumpet With Case and 7C Mouthpiece Reconditioned To Play. Valves and slides move well.
GETZEN ETERNA Severinsen Model gold Trumpet. I feel that it is still in working order as an instrument, but it is not clean looking. I have the impression that Severinsen himself is not so well known in Japan, but he is my favorite trumpeter. Please search for “doc severinsen” on YouTube, etc. I heard that Severinsen was on the board of Getzen for a while, and used Getzen trumpets for a while. 0The piece in this listing is very rare, with gory engravings in gold plate. The condition is not so good, but the previous owner, a professional, used it for work, so it is a working piece. The sound has a “brisk” presence, as if it were a solo instrument (in my opinion). How about a rare Severinsen model for this opportunity? The condition of this item is as follows. The serial number indicates that it was made in 1972-3. The gold plate is unfortunately faded. There are some patches on the lead pipe and the second feeler. There are some solder marks on the 3rd fingerboard, which seems to have been removed after the stopper and fixed finger rest were installed. (The Severinsen model originally had a movable finger rest and plastic stopper) (Unfortunately, there is no plastic stopper). There is no original case. There are some scratches and rust. It is not a beautiful piece. The previous owner commented that he felt the lead pipe side of the main tuning was too short. It may have been cut off in order to adjust the blowing feel. I do not feel any problem at all in the blowing feeling. ZWe have done a simple cleaning and lubrication on the occasion of this sale. International Buyers – Please Note. Thank you for your understanding.

I’m a working musician in Chicago/NWI and this is my personal horn. Serial number 173186 makes it built in 1949-50. I just don’t use and it sits in the case and needs played. It has been totally refurbished and the valve refitted by a renowned trumpet shop. The valves have great compression and aligned. It is all original and no red rot in the lead pipe. IT was relacquered in the past and we chose not to strip and rebuff to keep the thickness and integrity of the horn intact. I have the original Martin hardshell case, but it is rough shape. I have a lot invested in this horn, so I will not sell it for less than what’s in it.
