Olds Ambassador Vintage Trumpet Instrument 1974 With Case & Mouthpiece Bb. This was my sons first trumpet as a student. It works but needs a tune up.
OLDS RECORDING MODEL PROFESSIONAL TRUMPET. The instrument is in overall good used condition with normal wear. There are some scratches and dings. We try to take pictures of any defects that we are aware of. Also, please review all pictures for information like serial number, model number and name. The instrument hasn’t been played in a while so may need maintenance, cleaning and tune up. We promise to resolve any issues as soon as possible.
Up for sale is a F. Olds & Son Special Trumpet, L-10. Used as is condition. Fullerton CA Model – horn has the following: Olds Special, F. Olds & Son, Fullerton, Calif. Nickel plated brass construction Scratches and worn dull areas in plating Nickel plated valves. 460 bore 4 ¾” bell flare 19″ overall length 2 standard water keys Key of Bb. Includes the original wood shell Olds case in used/good condition. Our service department ultrasonically cleaned the internal tubing, flushed and aligned the valves so it’s ready to play! 1966 Olds Ambassador NA10M trumpet, great proven player, fully disassembled and thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. Valve ports were precisely aligned with horn ports using premium Valentino quiet pads and corks via the borescope method. All pads and corks replaced with new premium parts. All caps and buttons thread easily and seat fully without drama. Excellent original condition with very minor lacquer loss on leadpipe and finger hook. This appears to be a lightly used, well maintained 59 year old “closet queen”. This instrument plays very well with good intonation from pedal tones up through High C, my upper range. It has a rich, full tone as expected from Olds. It is efficient with excellent response. It is an excellent student grade instrument that is far superior to today’s imported offerings costing 3 or 4 times as much. This would be a great choice for a student, returning player or as a backup horn for a professional. Includes case and Getzen 7C mouthpiece in excellent condition. Olds Ambassador Trumpet with Mouthpiece and Case. Olds Ambassador TRUMPET with Mouthpiece Mute and CASE!! This Trumpet has some life left in it as you can see in the pictures. The Valves and Slides All Move Well. There is wear to the finish along with minor dents and scratches as you can see from the pictures. What you see is what you will receive. Includes: Mouthpiece, and Case as Pictured. The Ambassador Model is a popular design, and this instrument has a great sound. Original Hard Protective Case (Latches and Hinges are secure but latches may need work-they do not spring open). This quality instrument would be great. For any beginner or intermediate player. For sale is a F. Olds Special trumpet made in Fullerton, Ca. It is used and has some some wear and a few small dings but overall in nice shape. It plays great as well!
1965 Olds Opera Premiere Large Bore Bb trumpet. The Olds Opera model was introduced in the early 1960’s as a new addition to the Olds lineup. At the time, the Mendez was the highest priced model and the Opera was priced just below the Mendez and more than the Recording model. It featured a nickel silver bell and leadpipe, 1st slide trigger, octagonal finger buttons (and matching top and bottom caps) and a. This one is an excellent player, the valves have excellent compression and action. The lacquer is original 90%. Excellent shape (look at pics). Comes with OLDS case Also in excellent shape (I think it’s the original case). Nickel-silver Bell and leadpipe. Nickel-silver trim with lacquer finish. Matching serial numbers on all valve spring barrels. First slide trigger and third slide stop rod.
