Here is a hard to find Silver Super Olds Trumpet in great shape. This is a great horn. It was overhauled and is in great play-tested condition. The serial number is 382234 placing it in the 60’s. I’ve had it for a few years as a backup horn. Super Olds are great all around trumpets and a silver one is harder to find. The valves are smooth and fast and the horn has a great bright sound. There is minor wear on the valve casing and 2nd valve hook. There is slight erosion near the lead pipe entrance. Any questions, please ask.. Olds Recording Trumpet Los Angeles California with Carrying Case. Based on serial number 93415 it appears to be from 1953. Has some wear but an overall nice trumpet. Valves move freely and has an Olds #3 mouthpiece and Olds note holder as well as the Olds carrying case. Could use polishing, cleaning, and going through from sitting. The front ide valves. The two smaller rear slides dont and would need cleaning. The three valves have matching numbers the same as the serial number. Olds Super Star Fullerton California Vintage Trumpet With Case And Accessories. Included is a Olds Super Star Trumpet with the case, two certificate cards, a music book, a music sheet clip and another accessory clip. The trumpet also included a Vincent Bach 5B mouthpiece. The trumpet does show some wear with scratches on the outside body as well as 6 small dents. I couldn’t find much information on this exact model. The serial numbers read either 827754 or 827764. The valve and slides seem to be working smoothly but will probably need some lubrication. The inside of the trumpet towards the bell has some white/gray coloring as well as brown/orange deeper inside the trumpet. There also is a screw missing on the front sliding valve towards the front of the trumpet underneath the bell. The certificates read model V5 but they may not be this instruments certificates. This trumpet was found in an estate sale and I couldn’t get any information on what model this trumpet is.
