Yamaha Trumpet – model 8310Z – Bobby Shew Generation I. This Generation I Bobby Shew model is in excellent condition. There are 3 minor dings on the horn. One on the top of bow of the bell section (pic 4), another on 2nd valve slide (pic 5), and one the bell itself (pic 6) which is difficult to see in the photograph. Over all a few very minor dings and scratches and little wear on the valves. The second valve slide is stuck because it has been sitting unused for a couple years. All issues are minor and 100% cosmetic, and it plays great. The 8310Z has a smooth and even blow, quick response, great intonation and a sound that works equally well for lead or solos. I used it primarily as a my primary brass quintet horn which speaks to it’s versatility. If you are curious about the difference between the 8310z Gen.
