King 1500 Silver Trumpet – Rebuilt & Excellent – King Case and King 7C Mouthpiece Bore. 458 – Serial# 164. Early 2000’s beautiful unmarked 1500 model horn with 99% plating, new lead-pipe just installed, horn shows excellent. Valves are smooth and fast with excellent compression, slides feel great, 1st and 3rd are very nice, caps thread easily. Solid King case and horn also comes with a King 7C mouthpiece. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). All braces are checked and needed solder work is completed. Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read).
