This is a Bach New York Mount Vernon Stradivarius Bb Cornet Model 31 New York 67 Bell Serial Number 12756 Bore X Circa 1953. This Cornet belonged to his father and his father was the original owner. The Bell as a small crease in it. (See Photos) There is also one small pit on the bell. Compression in the Valves seems good to me. The horn plays fantastic! If I didn’t already own a Bb Mt. Vernon Cornet I would be purchasing it myself. Listing includes Case as shown. One latch is broken. Mouthpiece is NOT included. Would recommend fixing dent in Bell and stripping horn and re-laquering or plating. I recently had a question regarding the bore. Above the Serial number is an X. So I thought that was the Bore. Towards the bottom of the Valve Casing is an M. Just an FYI not sure what the X means.
