This listing is for a vintage brass trumpet made by Barth Musikhaus, Stuttgart, Germany. Acquired between 2012 & 2015 when we were stationed in Germany. My husband went through a musical instrument collecting phase. He didn’t necessarily play anything that he collected. So it just sat. It looks like it is in pretty good condition. The case metal fittings have oxidation and some rust. It smells musty and old you open up the case It is in “as found” condition.
This H&A Bundy trumpet is in playing condition and recent servicing includes a chem clean, flare dent repair, and basic soldering at the leadpipe. Everything works as it should and plays nicely. Lacquer wear throughout the horn, some parts fully raw brass. Brass scarring from previous repair and a few minor dings in the body. Solder work at a few braces as pictured. Overall, a great horn!

The antique Harry Pedler & Sons American Triumph Bb Trumpet is a rare and valuable musical instrument from the mid-20th century. Made of brass, both the body and bell of this trumpet are crafted with high-quality materials, ensuring a beautiful and durable piece for any musician or collector. With its rich history and unique sound, this vintage trumpet is a prized possession for anyone who appreciates classic musical instruments. This trumpet was made sometime between 1938 and 1958. Harry Pedler and Sons were bought out by the Selmer company. Trumpet comes with what looks like the original case and a Getzen 5C mouthpiece. The receipt is shown in pics 4 and 5 and comes with the horn. This trumpet is ready to go and needs nothing but a pair of lips. Great for a beginner, immediate player, or marching band student. I had to give up playing due to a lung ailment. It is a great classic horn.
