This is the first edition of the Yamaha Advantage series started in 1997, it has a rose brass bell and leadpipe, and nickel silver slide tubes; these features are now omitted on the newer models. This is a classy looking and nice functioning trumpet that has been reconditioned to ensure total reliability throughout its daily use for years to come. It does have an assortment of scratches, dings, and finish wear consistent with a pre owned instrument. It has been ultrasonically cleaned, and all worn valve guides, stem felts, top cap felts, valve springs and water key corks have been replaced. All tuning slides have received new grease, and all three valves are oiled. All braces are tight and secure. This Yamaha TR-1 Advantage trumpet is a great instrument that will be a joy to own and play. It comes in a nice Yamaha hard case and with a Yamaha 11B4 mouthpiece.
