This listing is for a C-Tenor (some call this a C-Melody) made by the C. Conn Company of Elkhart, Indiana. It is the famous 8M model. The serial number is 88725 placing production in 1922. This instrument is in very good, restorable condition with no dents. All the keys move, none are rusted. It has an unlacquered finish and is in raw brass. The pads are original white kidskin and needs to be replaced. This instrument has the micro-tuner neck and rolled tone holes. Also included is the original mouthpiece with the ligature and cap. It is a low pitch model. This instrument is in great restorable condition. It will not play in its current condition. Conn made the finest instruments at that time and this 100 year old sax would be a great addition to your collection. Included is the original case and original Guarantee Bond.
