A extremely ringing nickel bell with a classically looking valve block (still the trusted MAW kind that we love so much), a much lighter machined one piece leadpipe with a thinner integral threaded receiver. These trumpets are designed to fit in a trumpet section, articulate in a clearer way, have a super fast response, and, most of all, really address intonation issues present in so many mass-produced instruments. Based on a nickel bell that offers an incredible level of stability and accuracy. They sit perfectly in a trumpet section but they make such a demanding job a lot easier. It has the reversed #25 lead pipe for decreased resistance and better control, the lightweight body which makes it lively and responsive, and the 43 bell for a warmer tone with a great depth of color compared to the standard 37 model. It’s a great combination for a versatile horn which really comes alive in a variety of venues. It’s in superb condition. Plating about 99.9% with just the lightest wear, no dents or signs of repair. All tuning slides are free including the third-valve dump slide. Valves are fast and smooth and show very little use at all. Just polished, lubed, and had new tuning slide O-rings, stop rod bumper, and water key cork installed. This horn has SYNTHETIC oil on it, so you must use synthetic oil or thoroughly clean the valves and casings prior to using standard oil. Includes the Bach hard case with just moderate external wear. S/n 471XXX is too new for the published lists, but should be about 1998. An exceptional horn that does just about everything well. AR Resonance Suprema Bb Trumpet Phosphor Bronze bell and threaded leadpipe

One of the most stunning instruments you will ever find, this AR Resonance Suprema is offered by an Authorized Dealer. This instrument features an integrated threaded mouthpiece receiver, 5 variable gap mouthpiece receivers (allows you to use a standard mouthpiece shank), two alternate weight valve caps (some folks like to use a lighter weight cap on the 1st valve, a medium weight on the 2nd, and a heavier weight on the 3rd), and a very nice double trumpet case. This is the first horn AR designed and tested, took a LONG time to perfect: two months prior the release it’s been completely changed to incorporate a one piece leadpipe with and integral threaded receiver that is now standard for all the horns we produce. It’s a solo horn suited to jazz with an incredibly vibrant sound, thanks to a Phosphor Bronze bell that’s as challenging to make and bend as it’s rewarding to play and hear. This is NOT a heavy horn like many nowadays, this is a light horn that you can choose to order with normal or heavy caps and finger buttons. We don’t like heavy for the sake or it, we know weight can help some players but we want the horn to be extremely fast responding and resonant. Lawler Bb STS Trumpet, Raw Brass, #1A Leadpipe. 460 Bore, 3 Bells: 21, 21L, 23.. Built in 1995, I have owned this fine handcrafted trumpet for over a decade. It is one of two Lawler instruments I own. It is in excellent condition with only a couple of exceptionally small dings which I cannot photograph. I had the privilege of visiting Mr Lawler’s shop several years ago and during that visit he made me the 21 and 21L bells from parts he had hanging in the shop. Each bell offers a color different from the others, giving you lots of opportunity to fine tune your sound for nearly any setting. It has been in storage for a couple of months since the pics were taken so the raw brass patina is retuning slightly. All valves and slides are lubricated but I strongly suggest you clean them before oiling with fresh valve oil. These are very good valves that never gave me an ounce of trouble. No mouthpiece is included and there is no case. It will be insured and trackable. I will be listing other instruments over the next few weeks as well; part of that which I have collected. These include Olds Studios, a King DB Super 20 Symphony (non-Sterling Bell), and a couple of bells – just to get started. Keep checking back if these interest you! Lawler Handmade Professional Trumpet with Vintage Case. I first heard of Roy Lawler in the mid 1990’s when a new hire for the summer who was a grad student in trumpet performance let me play his. I was sooooo impressed. I have since owned five of his trumpets and each one has blown me away. It is sad that he is devoting all of his time now to trombones because he certainly knows how to make a great trumpet. You will love the feel and the trumpet responds very nicely. The sound is lively but very warm with a fair amount of focus. It is hard to imagine any professional level player not loving this horn. It is raw brass and will turn to a dark brown patina unless you hand polish it. I have done a lot of that to show you its potential however I believe the natural aged patina of raw brass is pretty cool. There are a few pings or real small indentations but nothing large or blaring. It is a trumpet you can feel proud to take out of the case and I believe you will love playing this one! Included is a vintage King case from the early 1970’s. It is in rough condition but has potential and does hold the Lawler ok. I used this horn throughout college and beyond, but it’s time I release this one from my collection. The horn is in good condition. All of the valves and slides work really well. There is minor wear on the first valve casing and a tiny ding on the first valve slide. There is also a small repair spot (dent removal) where the leadpipe attaches to third valve casing. All three of these are shown in the pictures. Only thing showing wear is the business card/luggage tag.
