Very Nice Vintage Eastlake King Silver Flair 1055 Professional Trumpet with Case

Vintage Eastlake King Silver Flair Professional Trumpet. This is certainly one of the very best trumpets King has ever made and an american classic in the professional trumpet world. The blow is wonderful, and I believe you will love the. The valves have a nice feel with strong compression. The trigger is smooth and function as are all the slides. The trumpet has just been ultrasonically cleaned and is ready to enjoy. Included is the original case which shows a lot of wear but does hold the trumpet nicely. The silver plating is very nice and there are no large dents. There is evidence of dent removal in the back of the bough and small indentations. Please see the last photo that shows this. Very nice King 1055t “player” in very good condition from the early seventies, serial 470, xxx. Definitely not a museum piece; it’s without a case, has a few flaws, could use some silver polish and maybe new valve rubber, but MAN is it a great playing horn that I’ve priced accordingly! Please look at my pics carefully, as I’ve done my best to show any flaws. The leadpipe appears to be clean w/o issues. Valves are smooth and fast. V1 has some plating wear and small amount of compression loss. V2 and V3 are both excellent (using Al Cass oil). Some plating wear on bottom caps is all I can find. Corrosion on valve stems (can’t figure that one out). Few small scratches and “flea bites” that don’t show up in pics. One-inch very shallow crease line on bell (see last pic). This trumpet has original Brite Silver Lacquer (98% perfect). The engraving is crisp and easy to see. There is one very small wear spot on the first valve see prictures. The trumpet is in great shape and has no deep scratches. There are no dents. All slides operate smoothly. All parts are stamped with the appropriately matched serial numbers. This trumpet has new springs, cork and felt. The first valve trigger slide is easy to remove and clean. The valves are super fast (like new) with no apparent loss of air pressure. The case is in good shape and is ready for another 40 years of service. The case is in good shape for its age. The latches are new and are now in working condition. There is some black tape on the one side of the case where the stitching has come undone. The trumpet has been professionally cleaned and serviced. This trumpet sounds like everything you come to expect from today’s professional trumpets but this one was built like nothing you see today. Look at the photos this King Silver Flair is in great condition. The is the professional model. The 2005 were not the professional model. I have played Martins, Bach strads and nothing compares to the sound of a King Silver Flari 1055T model. They are getting harder and harder to come by. This is an original 1055T model made some where around 1972. The serial number is 453xxx. It was made in the Eastlake factory. Everything works as it should and the horn plays incredibly. The bore size is. The valve pistons are clean and in good condition. They move up and down quickly, quietly, and smoothly. Compression/vacum is very good. All slides move smoothly. The first valve trigger is the most intelligently designed trigger ever made. All bracing is strong and secure. This is an excellent professional level trumpet from the original King company. A original Vincent Bach 7C mouthpiece in included. The horn comes with the original King Hard Case. The case is not in great condition (look at pictures) Latches work but springs on latches do not. The 1055T was made famous by Herb Alpert, Dizzy Gillespie and Ollie Mitchell to mention a few. This is one of the cleanest vintage horns you will find. Look at the pictures.
