Very nice vintage Reynolds Contempora professional trumpet serial number 271. Xxx with the famous tone ring around the bell. This trumpet is in very good shape for its age. Just professionally overhauled, cleaned and serviced by the best brass tech in St Louis! There are sone scratches and expected cosmetic wear. All the slides and valves move freely. The valves work great and so does the 1st valve trigger. Very good valve compression too(professionally checked). Comes with the original case, which has some wear on the outside and the left latch needs a new spring.

It is in excellent condition. Lacquer about 99% with just a tiny bit of wear and maybe one very small ding, but no significant dents or repairs. Unlike most of the used trumpets you might be looking at, this one has just been through the shop where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, detergent cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new piston felts, water key cork, and tuning slide O-rings installed. Valves are fast and smooth with no problems, and all the tuning slides are free. All in an excellent hard case in very good condition. An excellent trumpet for your advancing student-far better than the one you’re renting-and at about a thousand dollars less than Bach’s current step-up trumpet! Inexpensive Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Silver Trumpet-Chem Cleaned, New Case

Welcome to Ashantee Music! Matching Exceptional Students With Quality Instruments. One of the least expensive professional trumpets we are offering for sale. This is a Bach Stradivarius 180S37 Bb trumpet in silver-Bach’s all-around workhorse designed to do pretty much everything well. It is in very good condition. Cosmetically, the plating is about 95% with small bits of wear starting here and there, and scattered, small dings and scratches left over from past dent removal throughout, but no major dents remaining. As you can see in the photos, it shines up to a pretty good-looking horn. Unlike most of the used Strads you might be looking at, this one is just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, lubed, polished, and had all new valve felts, stop-rod bumper and nuts, tuning slide O-rings, and water key cork installed. It is completely ready to play. Valves are smooth and quiet, compression is very good, and all tuning slides are free including the 3. Note that this horn is oiled with SYNTHETIC valve oil (specifically, Hetman #3 Classic Piston oil,) and that you must use a similar synthetic oil or thoroughly clean the pistons and casings prior to switching to a petroleum-based product. Includes Bach 7C and Bach 5C mouthpieces. The original hard case with external cosmetic wear is available if you prefer, but we’ve put this in a brand-new Reunion Blues RBX case with backpack straps-rigid and lightweight, perfect for the bus and the band room. It is about as close to a Strad as Bach ever made, using the same valve section, and the biggest difference being a two-piece vs. Very similar to the old (not new) Bach Omega, and this one even has the fancy Omega engraving on the bell. It is in very good condition. Silver plate about 99.5% with little if any wear, and just a few very light dings here and there that you have to look pretty close to find. Just through the shop where it was chem cleaned, lubed, polished, and had new water key corks, piston felts, and tuning slide O-rings installed. All tuning slides are free, valves are fast and smooth with no concerns. Includes a Bach 7C mouthpiece, new ProTec microfiber cloth, new ProTec leather finger protector, and new ProTec slim profile straight mute. Includes the Selmer hard case in very good condition. Despite its orthodox specifications, it is a low-priced, high-quality model that properly condenses the basic functions and performance of a musical instrument. Minor scratches and abrasions are seen due to use, especially the entire U-shaped part is rubbed and the plating is peeled off only in that part. In addition, there is one correction mark of about 1 cm near the U-shaped bell, and other dents have been neatly corrected, and there are no noticeable correction marks. At present, there is no major damage, plating lifting or peeling, etc. And the condition is good and you can still use it. Please check the image. Eastman instruments are becoming more popular as their production quality continues to increase. This is a fantastic example of a great trumpet released from Eastman. It is in great cosmetic condition and has undergone an ultrasonic cleaning and dent removal from the bell. The bell was removed and resoldered on. Our world class repair shop is well known for fantastic ultrasonic cleaning and soldering. There is normal cosmetic wear from use, such as scratches and minor dings (pictured), but it has been serviced nicely to be in perfect playing condition.
