This is a very rare and desirable example of a Selmer Balanced Action tenor saxophone #28XXX manufactured in Paris, France in 1939. It is nearly impossible to find such a clean, straight example of this vintage of Selmer saxophones. Pads are older plastic resonator type, flexible with some life left and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. Minimal wear and scratching for a sax of this vintage on it’s factory relaquer finish. This sax has a beautiful focused vintage sound.
