This is a great-playing example of a vintage Conn 6m transitional alto saxophone manufactured in 1936, #273XXX. His sax has mostly midlife or older pads and it is set up to good playing adjustment, with needed replacements. Normal wear for a sax of it’s vintage with some scratches and a few minimal small dents on it’s vintage relaquer finish. Fat-sounding and free-blowing with a great vintage edge.
