Trevor James The Horn Revolution Tenor Saxophone.. For sale, my hardly used Tenor. This sax has spent most of its life in its case and is hardly used. As with many brass soldered instruments, some blemishes in the gold lacquered finish due to age are present and are shown in the photos. This has no effect on the function of the instrument however and all pads are in very good condition and seal well. The keys all work correctly and the the finished pearl effect finger placements are in perfect condition so the instrument plays as it should, easily and well. The instrument has no dents anywhere and all corks are in good condition too including the neck cork. It includes two mouthpieces, one of which is a selmer C S80, a number of unused reeds, cork grease and the next strap. I just don’t play this instrument and it’s just wasted sitting in my spare room. This sax is ideal for a student who wants to try and learn to play a sax but has a limited budget. A 1957 French Selmer closet Queen. This is quite the trumpet. A Selmer Paris Balance Action Trumpet in Large bore. The mouth pipe reciever is stamped 25. 4705 at the main tuning slide. Harry James played this model his being stamped 25. 472 so this is just a smidge under that. This horn really rips. It is very easy to play at all volumes and all ranges. The valves are Super tight , the best i have ever seen on a vintage horn. And think, this is a 1957 trumpet. The engraving is Perfect you can feel all the sharp edges of it. There is some wear under the third valve slide and on the finger hook and a few flea bites. Take a look at the pictures. Comes with the original case but it is trashed. It has done its work for it protected the horn wonderfully. I have done my best to describe this fine trumpet.
