Yamaha Revstar RS620 Brick Burst Electric Guitar SG500 Pickups, ABM Brass Bridge

Yamaha Revstar RS620 Brick Burst. It plays very well and sounds great. It’s had the wraparound bridge, pickups and potentiometers replaced. The pickups are a pair of 1980’s Japanese Yamaha SG500 pickups. They are definitely an improvement compared to the stock pickups to my ears, they have more clarity and definition. The tone pot is a no-load pot, when at 10 the tone corcuit is bypassed and you get the full humbucker sound, when rolled down slightly the tone circuit is engaged and works as a normal tone pot. Paper & oil capacitor installed. The stock pickups, potentiometers and bridge are included. The bridge pole piece holes have been widened to fite the ABM bridge and the pot holes have been widened a bit to fit full size CTS type pots. The neck is very comfortable, not too slim and not too chunky, a medium C profile. Mahogany body with a flame maple vineer. Bound body and neck. Set with 10 gauge daddario strings. Cosmetically in very good condition, there are only 2 tiny marks near the bridge (pic 9). It comes with a good quality kinman padded gig bag. Overall a great looking, playing and sounding guitar!
