Amati Deluxe Trumpet – Reconditioned – Original Case & Franklin Mouthpiece Bore. 430 – Serial# None. Cool old German built Amati Deluxe model. Horn is a small bore and plays much better than I expected. Sometimes I have to rebuild these horns I’ve never seen for fun. Horn plays well, tight in the lower register, valves feel excellent and slides are firm and smooth, caps thread nicely. Case came with the horn and is solid with broken latch springs and the included Franklin mouthpiece also came with the horn. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed. Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT). Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour). Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly. Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed. Play tested and final inspected before listing for sale. Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case. UpYourBrass Policies (please read).
