VINCENT BACH MERCEDES MODEL TROMBONE. EARLY NEW YORK 1941 ANTIQUE W/ ACCESSORIES. For sale is an antique Vincent Bach Mercedes Model Trombone, produced in New York around 1941. The serial number 2126 aligns with documented early Mercedes production, which began around #2118. This early model closely resembles the Bach 12, featuring a 7 bell and a. 508 bore hand slide. Original Bach case (fair condition, cosmetic wear present). Vincent Bach 6 1/2 AL mouthpiece. Vincent Bach 14D mouthpiece. Frank Holton 88A mouthpiece. Cleaning accessories (as pictured). Only the items shown in the photos are included. No additional accessories or parts are supplied. This trombone is in good playing condition with visible cosmetic wear appropriate for its age. Minor dents and dings. Surface wear, marks, and scratches. Will benefit from a cleaning, polish, and lubrication before regular use. Total weight with case: 12 lbs. All the thumb and finger hooks… Trumpet has had full pro setup… And played to assure satisfaction… All valves and slides serviced… Springs and felts great… New valve cap felts put on… New casing caps on bottom of casing installed… Has a Giardelli 7c mouthpiece. Extensive cleaning and polishing. It does have a bit of finish wear… Very small micro dents… Bell has slight wave… But in great shape… And holds a beautiful shine. 2nd knuckle slide has small dent. Comes with a nice ABS hard case in great shape… All hardware works well… Also comes with a new polishing cloth… And new valve oil.
