This is a fine-playing example of a Selmer Mark VII tenor saxophone #292XXX manufactured in Paris, France in 1979, in it’s original worn laquer finish. Pads are around midlife, flexible, with necessary replacements and t. His sax is set up to good playing adjustment. Normal wear and scratching on it’s original laquer finish with scattered bumps and small dents. Evidence of repaired dents on the bow as seen in photos #6 and #8, no effect on the sound. This sax blows very freely with lots of power and edge and I prefer it to any Mark VI I have owned.
